Arise Ghana: Thousands Of Ghanaians Demonstrate On The Economy


Thousands of Ghanaians converged this morning at the capital city of Accra to commence the #KromAyeShe demonstration by pressure group arise Ghana.

The multi-party group of protestors are seeking for better and improved standards of living, a probe into the recently read COVID-19 trust fund expendable, price of fuel, High cost of living among other factors affecting the general citizenry of the country.


Originally, the demonstration is organized by Arise Ghana and led by Mr. Benard Mona and with joint efforts from the biggest opposition party NDC and other political parties including members of the ruling political party.

The demonstration which started at the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle is expected to go through over seven principal streets of Accra and see it’s final stands at the forecourt of the Jubilee House.

According to reports and experienced commentators, the demonstration is described to be identical to the KumeprÉ›ko demonstration in the 1990’s led by the current president of the republic, H.E Nana Akuffo Addo.
