Black Sherif Receives Nomination At MTV Europe Music Awards 2022

The international award shows are acknowledging the hard work of rising Ghanaian musician Black Sherif.
The “SOJA” hitmaker has been nominated for an MTV Europe Music Award, making him the second Ghanaian to do so.

Alongside Nigeria’s Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Tems, Tanzania’s Zuchu, and South Africa’s Musa Keyss, Black Sherif has been nominated for the Best African Act award.

The PSD Bank Dome, a multipurpose indoor venue, will host the MTV EMA 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

On November 13, the ceremony will be broadcast live on MTV in more than 170 countries, and via November 14, it will be accessible worldwide on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. The event is being held in Germany for the sixth time this year.

MTV released the nominees for the much awaited MTV EMA 2022, which will include top worldwide musicians from the previous year’s music charts.

With seven nominations, including Best Artist, Best Song, and Best Video, Harry Styles is in the lead nominations.

Taylor Swift, who also received a nomination for Best Longform Video a brand-new MTV EMA 2022 category following Styles with six nominations.
