Black Sherif Receives Nomination In Best International Flow Category At 2022 BET Awards

Born and raised in Konongo, a small city in the Ashanti region of Ghana, Black Sherif’s cult following is spreading across the globe as local and national scenes make headlines.

The BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 have nominated Ghanaian rapper and vocalist Black Sherif in the Best International Flow category. On September 30, 2022, at Atlanta’s Energy Performing Arts Center, the occasion will be broadcast. Fat Joe will serve as host.


Black Sherif’s global appeal is growing as a result of the release of the first and second sermons and later “Kwaku The Traveller,” as his style appeals to people from all walks of life and across all continents. This elevates him to the position of headliner on various playlists across the range of digital streaming platforms.

Ghana’s Sarkodie won this same award category in 2019 making Black Sherif’s nomination a historic one for the music industry.
