Only two of United’s 12 Premier League games this season have seen Ronaldo start, and of those two, only one, a 4-0 loss at Brentford in August, has he played the whole 90 minutes.
In Wednesday’s Premier League victory against Tottenham, Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo exited Old Trafford before the final buzzer.
He sat on the bench and walked down the tunnel in the 89th minute as an unused substitute in the 2-0 victory.
Ronaldo is said to have entered the locker room for a brief moment before exiting the stadium.
After the game, manager Erik ten Hag indicated he will “deal” with the situation on Thursday.
Ten Hag said, “I’ve seen him, but I haven’t talked to him.
