Three Floating Hotels Are Fully Booked For First Week Of FIFA World Cup 2022 – MSC

The MSC Cruises Group, owner of the three floating hotels docked at Doha Port, announced that reservations for the first week of the World Cup have reached 100%.

The MSC Cruises Group estimates that the three cruise ships can accommodate 10,000 passengers, and that 100% of rooms have been reserved for the World Cup’s first week.

The third cruise ship to act as a floating hotel for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has arrived at Doha Port. It is the MSC Opera.

MSC Opera will join MSC World Europa and MSC Poesia, which had already landed in Doha Port, in providing supporters of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with a world-class hospitality experience.

HE Akbar Al Baker, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chief Executive of Qatar Airways Group, stated in statements on Friday that providing lodging and leisure amenities on board floating hotels is a reflection of the tireless efforts made to put on the best World Cup ever organised.

The MSC Opera is a contemporary floating hotel that provides World Cup supporters with opulent services, a range of lodging options, including classic cabins facing the sea, rooms with balconies, and luxury suites, as well as several eating options, programmes, and entertainment for all ages.

The 13-deck MSC Opera is 275 metres long and 32 metres wide, with a capacity for around 2,679 passengers and 1,075 rooms.

The State of Qatar offers many amenities, including floating hotels, for fans of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Other accommodations available for booking and lodging during the event include apartments, villas, fan villages, and conventional hotels.

The partnership between Qatar and MSC Cruises began in 2016 when Doha received the first massive cruise ship of the Group, MSC Fantasia.
